Hey!

Hey-Welcome to The Best Blog Ever! Blog..BLAAHHHGGG!!-such a funny word. Who came up with it? It sounds like something you need to say 'excuse me' for after you do it. Anyways, I guess I better start blogging away since this is THE BEST BLOG EVER!!..

I just got home from church. They talked about Abraham. I have a good friend in my class who has that name. But this Abraham was like an old guy, maybe a hundred years old, before he and his wife Sarah ever had anyone of their own to tickle or ground. Kids that is..They wanted them really bad and God finally gave them Isaac. He was probably spoiled like crazy!

But then God told Abraham to take Isaac up to this place and sacrifice him. Yeah, kill him! Whoa! I'd be like,"C'mon cut me some slack here God, this is my first kid and I ain't gettin' any younger!" But Abraham was obedient. There's another word that's funny. It sounds like something hard to do....And it is, I know.

So Abraham takes Isaac to this place called, Moriah. I wonder what their conversation was like while they walked...??

"So, how ya doing in shepherding class, son?"
"Great Dad-got an A."
"Good...good..It's important to do well in school so that when you grow up...ah well, never mind.."

Well, maybe it wasn't like that but Isaac did ask his Dad where the goat was to sacrifice. And his Dad said,"God will provide..."

Anyways, they go to Moriah and Abraham builds an altar. Then he puts Isaac on the altar and ties him up and Isaac lets him! I wonder what Isaac was thinking..? "Okay...this is not a fun game...I know we're supposed to have some father and son bonding but this is ridiculous!"

Then Abraham gets his knife out and comes at Isaac with it. I wonder if he went in slow motion, like in an action movie, when he did it...I know I would. But just before the knife reaches Isaac an angel stops him...probably like hits the pause button on God's DVR. He tells Abraham that he doesn't have to kill his son after all and because of his obedience, he gets to have more kids than all the sands on all beaches in the entire world!! Whoa!! That's a lot of tickling!! And grounding....

That's my BLAAHHGGG!! for now... Excuse me!
